All University owned laptops, through either the allocation program, purchased by a department, or purchased with research funds, must be encrypted.  Machines set up by your LSP will be encrypted, with their encryption keys stored within BigFix.

The encryption process used for PCs is Bitlocker and for Macs is FileVault.  If you have any questions about these encryption processes please contact your LSP here.
