ARTS & SCIENCES COMPUTINGFor the Spring 2025 semester, the university will run a pilot program for Wooclap. Wooclap is an interactive polling software that integrates with Microsoft PowerPoint. It is similar to the current solution, Poll Everywhere. Wooclap integrates with Canvas Gradebook, Poll Everywhere does not. Unlike Poll Everywhere, Wooclap is implemented as a plugin for Microsoft Office instead of a standalone application. It must be added to PowerPoint manually by the end user. There is no option to preinstall Wooclap on a classroom computer for all users. If three people all use Wooclap on the same classroom computer, they each need to have Wooclap added to Microsoft PowerPoint within their user profile.
