Location |
- Located at 133 S. 36th Street, Philadelphia PA 19104
- The main entrance is on 36th St. between Walnut and Sansom Streets.
- A Penn Card is required to access the building.
- Building's hours M-F, 8:00am – 9:00pm. A security officer at the main desk, during those hours.
- PCPSE is not open on the weekends.
- Blank Forum (room 250) is on the 2nd floor. It will be on your left if you take the stairs or if you take the elevator it will be to the right.

Availability |
- The Forum is available Monday thru Friday 8:00am-6:00pm.
- All events must begin before 5:00pm.
- No reservation is final until you receive a confirmation.
- If you cancel your event, please notify us immediately.
- You must end your event in a timely manner, according to the time you have reserved.
- If rules are violated, staff reserve the right not to accept an individual’s or organization’s future request for room reservations.
- Our organization complies with all applicable Center and University policies, procedures, rules and regulations including,
but not limited to, the University policies regarding Non-Discrimination, Classroom Guidelines, Use of Facilities, Open Expression Guidelines, and Code of Student Conduct.

Configuration & Capacity |
- The room includes a podium with computer, podium microphone, laptop inputs and full AV controls. This podium can not be moved.
- Space is available at the front of the room for panel tables. There are 9 tables in the room, (3) rectangles and (6) squares. If you plan to use them you will need to allot time to arrange them in advance and time to reset them when the event ends.
- 30-40 chairs are typically set out for use and additional chairs are stored in the closets at the rear.
- Seating is in the form of movable chairs and the capacity is 100.
- Two 6 foot folding tables can be found in the rear cabinets. These can be used for registration tables.
- The Forum must be reset to its original set up when the event is over.

Audio and Visual Capabilites |
- The room does not have a built in camera.
- It has a single projector and a single projection screen.
- Windows 10 computer with Penn standard classroom configuration; PennKey required for login.
- HDMI cable for connecting a laptop to the the room's projector and monitor.
- Podium microphone, one handheld and one lav can be found on a charger on the podium.
- Additional mics can be provided upon request. Up to a total of 4 wireless microphones can be used, four handheld, four lavalier, or any combination of the two.
- Microphones feed audio into Zoom and can be used for in-room reinforncement.

Catering |
- Alcohol must be strictly controlled, must stay in the room, and is not allowed to be served to minors.
- We do not have tables or catering supplies to lend.
- There is no ‘backroom’ for the caterers to work from.
- The caterer is responsible for removing all the trash they generate.
- All rental furniture must be dropped off and picked-up the same day of the event.
- Do not leave any food behind.
- No open flames are allowed.

Fees |
- The room comes with no additional support. You must make arrangements for additional services.
- Large groups and all-day events will require an additional housekeeper to monitor the space, the 2nd floor lobby and the restrooms. There would be an extra charge for that housekeeper.
- Special furniture setups can be arranged through Visual Sound, www.visualsound.com They too will charge a fee.
- Your organization is responsible for any damage to the facility incurred during the event.

Other |
- Since the Blank Forum is on the 2nd floor, it is a good idea to have a designated greeter on the first level to direct people.
- There is not a secure room for out-of-town attendee’s luggage.
- The Forum is cleaned once a day, early in the morning.
