Starting a class Zoom meeting during a Canvas outage

In the event of an outage with Canvas, consider the following options:

First, contact your class participants through the regular Class Mailing List email and provide them with the link to the meeting. Each class has a list, auto-generated at the beginning of each semester. The format is as follows "Subject-Course-Section-YearTerm@lists.upenn.edu".

If you cannot find the link to your synchronous class meeting, go to https://upenn.zoom.us/meeting#/upcoming, click the name of the meeting and copy the “Invite Link.”
