Courtesy Appointments
Courtesy Appointments are used for individuals affiliated with an SAS department to provide access to services during their relationship with that department. Courtesy Appointments in SAS need to be approved by the SAS Dean's Office.
To submit a request for a Courtesy Appointment, Department Administrators or Sponsoring Faculty members can fill out the form here.
SAS PennKey Administrators will then work with the Dean's Office for approval of the Courtesy Appointment. Once the Courtesy Appointmenty is approved and added, PennKey Admins will update the requestor. At that time the Department can then fill out the PennCard form and the affiliate can then go the PennCard Center with two forms of ID to obtain their PennCard.
- Maximum duration for a Courtesy Appointment is one year.
- Courtesy Appointments need to be re-approved after expiration.
- Courtesy Appointments are not eligible for SAS email accounts.
