Institutional Research and Application Development (IRAD)

Institutional Research and Application Development (IRAD) is the division of SAS Computing responsible for the areas of institutional data reporting, application development, system integration, and IT support. IRAD works extensively with data in the University Data Warehouse.

IRAD specializes in creating and maintaining web-enabled database applications for clients within the School of Arts and Sciences. A key strength of IRAD is its ability to integrate data from University source systems. Additionally, IRAD offers consulting services and support to departments aiming to develop their own database and web applications. The team provides data retrieval and analysis services to administrators, develops data dashboards and workflows, conducts numerous cyclical studies on teaching and majors, and manages the course evaluation process.
